PFLAG-Laurel MS Meeting

For the meeting:

We have Sarah Young of Mississippi ACLU/ MS Safe Schools Coalition.

Sarah will present a “Prom Workshop”. The workshop will provide information for parents, friends, family, LGBT individuals and students rights regarding same-sex dates and opposite gender attire (girl’s wearing a tux or boys wearing a prom dress) to the prom.

Please have anyone who is interested in attending or helping pass the word along about the workshop contact me via email hintonamy@yahoo.com or phone 215-203-2366. We need help spreading the word to the community about this event. It will be helpful to have as many supportive a parents, friends and family at this workshop for our LGBT students.

This is for high school students: Jones County Schools, Laurel City Schools and surrounding areas.
