Mississippi Rally for Equality a Success!

Rally for Equality, a protest/rally against Proposition 8 and similar measures, in Jackson, Mississippi was amazing! Counts had attendance around 150 people and Hattiesburg had around 50 people. That’s 200+ beautiful Mississippians making their voices heard. Even more amazing was the wonderful turnout of our straight allies! Hundreds of thousands used Saturday to stand up for equality. You could feel the energy all day and it was a wonderful feeling.

The organizers would like to thank everyone that came out. We hope to see more at our next protest being planned very soon!
